This course features 6 instructional webinars, with 3 follow-up coaching calls.  The live, interactive webinars are held on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. (Pacific time) and last 30-40 minutes each.  An unlimited number of staff members may participate in the webinars if a speaker phone or computer is used to connect to the webinar.

Aug. 29: How-to webinar: Assess resident preferences for incontinence care.  Assignment: Interview at least 5 residents using the recommended form and submit de-identified forms.

Week of Sept. 5: Coaching call to assess progress, troubleshoot barriers, motivate supervisors.

Sept. 12: Webinar: Feedback, discussion of implementation assignment.  Assignment: Continue interviewing residents.

Sept. 19: How-to webinar: Conduct a 3-day toileting trial.  Assignment: Conduct toileting trials for at least 5 residents using the recommended protocol/form and submit de-identified forms.

Weeks of Sept. 26/Oct. 3: Coaching call

Oct. 12: Webinar: Feedback, discussion of implementation assignment.  Continue conducting toileting trials.

Oct. 17: How-to webinar: Analyze resident data for care planning.  Prepare care plans for at least 5 residents.  Submit de-identified care plans.

Week of Oct. 24: Coaching call

Oct. 31: Webinar: Feedback, discussion of implementation assignment, care monitoring.  After this teleconference, Dr. Schnelle will be available to consult with NHs by email or phone upon request.
