Goals & Activities

The Quality Improvement Network organizations are collaborating to produce models for widespread quality improvement in the long-term care setting. Educational opportunities will be offered to teams of nursing home physicians, registered nurses and administrators in the implementation of these models or “best practices”. In collaboration with the California Geriatric Education Center (CGEC), additional technical assistance in the long tem care setting will be provided to evaluate team’s efficiency and measurement of patient outcomes.

Collaborative Key Stakeholders Meetings: CALTCM has received grant support from the California HealthCare Foundation to further develop the Network by hosting multiple key stakeholder meetings over the next year. Goals are to develop educational programming, such as INTERACTII, and create outreach and implementation strategies to focus on the growth and mission of the Quality Improvement Network across the State of California.
