Target Audience

Physicians, advanced practice nurses, gero-psychiatrists, pharmacists, licensed nurses, administrators, and other members of the interdisciplinary team who care for patients and residents in PALTC.

  • Note: CALTCM recognizes that CMD-accreditation predicts higher quality of care for long-term care facilities (JAMDA, October 2009) and has intentionally designed its CME process to help Medical Directors achieve and maintain CMD-accreditation. For example, CALTCM CME credit segmentation is aligned with that of AMDA/ABPLM (i.e., Clinical Medicine and Medical Management segments).
